I think it is really sad how financial education is not really taught in school. Many schools have been adopting a class that teaches kids to save money and to live below their means. Some even have an event once a year where the kids are put into a simulation of having to get paid, then pay their bills while being tempted to buy lots of stuff. While I think these are valuable learning lessons for kids to learn there is so much more to finances that we need to learn.
No one teaches how to read let alone use an income statement and balance sheet. This is a vital part of personal finances. In accounting they explain these sheets yet do not tell you how to use one for your life just your business. But how many people take accounting classes too.
I wish there was a class that took the time to help us understand the history of money too so we can have a historical perspective that can help us understand current financial issues.
I have taken the time and money to discover these things for myself and have been very grateful for learning them. Robert Kiyosaki has taught me a lot that has made a real difference in my life.
I am grateful he is out there teaching others and helping them out. I have even taken economics classes to learn more as well. What an eye opener they were. Take the time to educate yourself on basic financial accounting and use it in your life. Learn how to invest money wisely.
Click on the links here with my blog and read Robert's free ebook The Conspiracy of the Rich. It has helped me understand a lot about what is happening in the market right now.

It has been announced recently that Medicaid is losing money rapidly and will be gone in the next decade. Social Security can only last another decade or two. Even the FDIC doesn't have enough money to keep itself afloat. The Retirement agency that has been assuming the pensions of businesses that fail can't pay its obligations to retirees. All the government programs are failing soon.
I think we should stop relying on the government and rely on ourselves more to make sure we have a bright future financially. The Eight new rules of money outlined in Conspiracy of the rich I think holds a key to making sure we can have a good future.
I have recently been reading a book called The Dollar Crisis. It is a book about how our economy is experiencing a bubble in the dollar just like it has several times before. However this bubble is a different bubble from the others.
I think it ties in well to what Robert's message is in Conspiracy of the rich. Even in his book prophecy he talks of some major problems in our economy.

click on the links for the book. I am in a contest to win the most people beating the conspiracy so I am doing my own drawing for dinner for two at a local restaurant for anyone who clicks through and registers!
Help me out!
Check out conspiracy of the rich! This book has helped me so much in dispelling myths on the current financial mess. I'm sure you will love it too!
